Produce Hall is Grade II listed and located within the Market / Underbanks Conservation Area. The Practice provided planning and heritage consultancy services on the project, and worked with Stockport Council and the Design Team to agree the extent of the building fabric to be removed, modified or repaired. An assessment of the scheme’s planning and regeneration benefits was provided within the Planning Statement submitted in support of the applications.
Paul Butler Associates Ltd also prepared the supporting Heritage Statement which considered the significance of the building and appraised the heritage impact of the scheme.
