Paul Butler Associates Ltd provided heritage services on this project, preparing a Heritage Statement and Archaeological Desk Based Assessment in support of an application to redevelop land at Trinity Way, Salford.
The scheme will involve the demolition of existing low-grade commercial buildings on the site and the erection of two new buildings of 13 and 17 storeys to provide 380 residential units and 889 sqm of commercial space.
The scheme also involved the retention, repair and refurbishment of the vacant Grade II listed former Black Friar public house to provide offices, a management suite and other ancillary functions for future residents of the scheme. The application was approved at Planning Committee in March 2015.
