Housing : Extension to House in Green Belt

Paul Butler Associates Ltd were instructed to provide advice on a proposed single storey ground floor extension and roof terrace to an existing detached dwelling within the Cheshire Green Belt. The house, which was approximately ten years old, had replaced a smaller cottage, and there had been historic refusals and appeals relating to the site.
The practice was able to provide an initial view to the client on the likelihood of planning permission being granted, suggest alterations to the draft plans that had been produced, and coordinate a supporting planning statement. Paul Butler Associates Ltd also oversaw submission of the planning application, which was approved in August 2016.
