Paul Butler Associates Ltd secured planning permission and listed building consent for the sensitive conversion of this Grade II listed former textile warehouse to 37 apartments, with commercial floorspace provided at ground floor and basement level.
The Practice provided planning and heritage advice on the project and coordinated a soft-strip exercise to expose hidden historic fabric. A Planning Statement was prepared in support of the scheme which assessed the proposals against national and local planning policy, whilst a Heritage Assessment was undertaken to identify the heritage significance of the building and appraise the impact of the scheme upon this significance.
