Following closure of the ‘Bay Horse’ in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Paul Butler Associates Ltd helped secure planning permission for increased opening hours which was fundamental for the relaunch of the pub as ‘The Bay Horse Tavern’.
The Practice also obtained planning permission and listed building consent for internal and external alterations to the Grade II listed building, as well as advertisement consent for the building’s new signage.
Paul Butler Associates Ltd prepared a Planning Statement to demonstrate the need for the extended opening hours and assessed and impact of this. The Practice also prepared a Heritage Statement which considered the impact on the fabric of the listed building and the Smithfield Conservation Area.
