Paul Butler Associates Ltd secured planning permission in January 2014 for the change of use of a group of part vacant buildings in Manchester's Northern Quarter with a mixed-use hotel/public house/restaurant operated by Hydes Brewery.
The proposal involved the restoration and repair of a group of locally listed buildings in a poor state of repair with a scheme of high design quality, and a use securing their future.
As well as preparing the Planning and Heritage reporting in support of the application, the practice were also involved in liaising directly with the local community and demonstrating that the development and its management would ensure there was no adverse impact on the amenity of existing neighbouring residents.
